Never Ending Sun

This is a very wonderful movie about midnight sun (known as 'white night' in Japanese).

I know the word "midnight sun", but I didn't know the route of the sun near the poles at all. This is 1 week excursion of never ending sun and it shows the sun rising before setting.

(Where are the pictures taken? It may be in the Arctic, not in the Antarctic, I think...)

This is insanely dramatic and impressive scenery!

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon occurring in summer months at latitudes north and nearby to the south of the Arctic Circle, and south and nearby to the north of the Antarctic Circle where the sun remains visible at the local midnight. Given fair weather, the sun is visible for a continuous 24 hours, mostly north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_sun)
